Americans are used to certain standards of behavior, especially from public figures. Yet we seem to be in times not aligned with standards. The human mind -in the habit of thinking that the standards would be followed – may paint in standards without regard to conscious reasoning.  EO Wilson said in his book Social Conquest of Earth – that humans can begin to create the beginnings of a paradise on Earth if we do three things – use the unrelenting application of reason, have a basic sense of kindness and know who we are.

Trump Repeats Lie About Popular Vote in Meeting With Lawmakers

WASHINGTON – President Trump used his first official meeting with congressional leaders on Monday to falsely claim that millions of unauthorized immigrants had robbed him of a popular vote majority, a return to his obsession with the election’s results even as he seeks support for his legislative agenda.

Fact Check 1:

An article by the Time mentions that ”  Cook Political Report, Clinton’s final tally came in at 65,844,610, compared to Donald Trump’s 62,979,636, with a difference of 2,864,974. The total number of votes for other candidates was 7,804,213″
