What is this supposed to mean?

    > Portugal is the country with the most blocked accounts for fake news. According to an article by a Portuguese digital newspaper called Observador, 244 accounts were banned. In comparison to other countries, Portugal has smaller values. United Kingdom occupies the top of the list with the biggest number of accounts blocked.

It seems to be self-contradictory — not to mention being unsourced.

Yes, thank you for noticing. This issue has been corrected. Portugal is one of the countries with the most accounts blocked (244 in total) but in the United Kingdom there is a total of 16 thousand accounts blocked, therefore they occupied the top of the list.

Thanks for the source. I note that it says “Apesar de estar no top 10 europeu, os valores registados em Portugal estão significativamente abaixo dos números de outros países”, which translates as “Despite being in the top 10 in Europe, the values registered in Portugal are significantly below the numbers of other countries”

If the problem is significantly less bad in Portugal than other countries, why mention Portugal, rather than those other countries, at all? And if it is mentioned, perhaps the fact that it is less serious should be mentioned.

Is there any indication as to why the problem should be less serious in Portugal?

You are welcome. I referred to Portugal because I´m a Portuguese student and because of that, I´m more exposed to Portuguese news on a daily basis. But yes, I´ve been trying to find the original report from Google, maybe it will explain the issue in a better way.
