44 million Americans [without] health care”

 Fact Check: True.

According to PBS report on the Healthcare Crisis, approximately 44 million people do not have Health Insurance, and another 38 million have inadequate Health Insurance. This means that about one/third of all Americans are Health Insurance insecure.

These numbers support Steven King’s claim.
