Trump had the legal authority to force Jeff Sessions to resign. Many are happy to get rid of Sessions because of what he did to harm children and their parents at the American/Mexican border and many other reasons. That is not the point.
It is Trump’s attempt to move forward with his illegal plans to obstruct justice that many think all Americans should object to.
The claim being made is that Trump does not have the legal authority to obstruct justice by thwarting Robert Mueller’s investigation. With the appointment of an overtly biased, political Trump supporter, Matt Whitaker, to the office of Attorney General that might change. The evidence offered is Whitaker’s well-documented public pronouncements of being against the Mueller investigation that make him unqualified to hold the position of U.S. Attorney General unless he recuses himself from matters related to the Mueller investigation.
This recent Trump action is another alleged high crime and misdemeanor, which is further grounds for Trump’s impeachment, happening in full, public view.
Over 6 million Americans pledge to fight against these alleged illegal acts by President Trump until he is impeached. www.needtoimpeach.com
