I think Mr. Delaney could learn more about the political system by volunteering under his Democratic opponent’s election efforts and work for them, possibly even getting hired when that individual probably gets re-elected, based on the last races polling results. Mr. Delaney’s answers conjure up some mindset from someone who could be a centrist GOP supporter from the 1950’s who happened to live on an iconic elm st. Certainly not a poly-sci person by any stretch, my advice again, he should work for the opposition to figure out what the heck is going on.

Hi Timothy: Thanks for this contribution to WikiTribune. It’s obvious you put in a lot of work here and that’s always much appreciated. I’m an editor with the site and have just read through your piece. Couple questions: Did you record this interview with Dan Delaney? If so, can you post the audio file along with the story? Also, can you let me know what your connection to Delaney is? Do you have a personal or professional connection to the candidate? Transparency is a big part of the WikiTribune mission, so it’s important for the community to be aware of such things, particularly in the context of political or business reporting. I’m happy to carry on this conversation via email: [email protected] Thanks, Chuck
