Bereaved families, friends and others affected by the fire on 14 June 2017 will speak at commemoration hearings, which are expected to last for two weeks.
After the tributes, the inquiry will move to examining the circumstances that led up to the fire, including pressure from the Grenfell community on the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea council to investigate the safety of the tower (The Guardian).
