Titled “Correcting the record – the Russia investigations,” the memo is heavily critical of the Republican version, which alleged that the FBI failed to disclose this information when requesting a surveillance order from a federal court.
The White House was initially reluctant to allow the Democrats to release their version of the memo, saying it would cause concerns regarding national security (CNN).
