    Hello Spencer,

I do like your idea !

I live in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, UK which is about 25 miles north of the centre of London. We are a small community (pop. 5,200) under pressure from government and developers to fill up the green spaces around our village with new homes, with no thought to limitations of local infrastructure, governance or community life.

I was just looking for an idea such as yours. We have two “platforms” for organising around this issue, but Facebook (Kings Langley Matters) is too diverse, and our Residents Association website (www.greenbeltmatters.com) isn’t publicly editable.

What kind of charter do you envisage for a “round table”? How to encourage people (especially non-techies) to add and edit materials? Anything else in the way of “just doing it”?

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Best regards,

    John

    Many thanks
