Sangeet Sangroula is a Nepali journalist. He worked for Republica National Daily, one of the country’s largest English dailies.
At the newspaper, he first worked as a social bureau correspondent and later as a political bureau correspondent. He was responsible for daily news coverage and feature stories. He has reported on a wide range of issues–national politics, government affairs, elections, bureaucracy, crime, foreign affairs, irregularities in NGOs, environment, disasters, earthquake reconstructions and socio-cultural issues. He has also dispatched news stories from China.
Apart from working as a reporter the newspaper, he also served as a research assistant for Nepal-based correspondent of German news agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa).
Sangroula has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and English Literature from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. A multimedia journalism enthusiast, he is currently doing his Masters in Global Business Journalism at Tsinghua University of China.
He is interested in global politics and foreign affairs. He loves to engage with long-form journalism and feature stories.
