Saudi women can now enter soccer stadiums for the first time

For the first time ever, Saudi Arabian women will be able to watch soccer live in stadiums on Friday, in a move that marks Saudi history and the country’s liberalization under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The kingdom is also holding its first ever car show aimed at women after King Salman ordered an end to the ban on women drivers, with app-based driver services Uber and Careem also beginning to recruit female drivers for the first time.
