Sexual harassment speeches dominate Golden Globes 2018

The 75th Golden Globes was dominated by powerful speeches about sexual abuse following the Weinstein revelations last year. Many celebrities wore black to stand in solidarity with victims of harassment. 

The night was focused on campaigns like #MeToo and Time’s Up, the latter of which was a project launched by more than 300 actresses, writers and directors. One of the highlights of the night was a speech by Oprah Winfrey, aimed particularly at young women. “Speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have,” Winfrey said.
