FAQs: support

How can we help beyond monthly support?

We’re going to need lots of people to help with editing, fact-checking, approving – those opportunities will be live when the site launches. For now, you can help us by spreading the word about what we’re trying to do.

What’s your financial goal, and how much runway will it give you?

Every bit of support allows us to hire more journalists, further develop the platform and create better and wider news coverage. We want to be as good as we can be.

Will you give us regular reports on how the money will be spent?

Yes. We believe in transparency.

What’s your hiring process for the initial 10 journalists?

The usual: applications, CVs, interviews. We’re looking for people who understand the goals of the project, have wide-ranging experience, and ideally fluency in other languages.
