FAQs: structure

< Back to FAQ home
Will the community have access to unpublished articles to fact-check them, or will they have to get involved after the article is published?

Yes, the community will have access to pre-published stories in most cases. Obviously, for scoops that might not be possible. We’ll have to work this out as we go along.

How will the community contribute to content? Will there be any difference between people who subscribe and people who don’t?

Volunteers can do whatever interests them. We’re big fans of genuine community control. There’ll be no differences in access according to subscriber status.

Who’s responsible for “curating” a given article and confirming that edits are accurate? The journalist or the community?

Both! No one can be available 24/7, but if the journalists and community share the work, articles can be updated around the clock.
