Claim: Claim:
"[Domestic violence] will impact 1 in 3 women over the course of their lives" "[Domestic violence] will impact 1 in 3 women over the course of their lives"
Fact check: Fact check: True
According to a 2010 The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey 2010 Findings on Victimization by Sexual Orientation survey conducted by the CDC that Speaker Pelosi seems to be referencing.

Four in 10 lesbian women (43.8%), 6 in 10 bisexual women (61.1%), and 1 in 3 heterosexual women (35.0%) reported experiencing rape, physical violence, and/or stalking within the context of an intimate partner relationship at least once during their lifetime

So while this is higher for other sexual orientations for more than one third of the majority of women in the U.S. they will experience some form of domestic violence based on this research.
