  <strong>The <a href="http://www.fao.org/news/story/en/item/1140078/icode/">FAO announced</a> in June that child labor in agriculture is on the rise globally, driven by conflict and disasters. While the number of children in labor overall has dramatically declined since 2002, <span id="m_-2009123577752596811gmail-docs-internal-guid-1f2d2892-890c-89da-e2dd-998230773041">the pace of decline has considerably slowed since 2012. If this rate continues it <span id="m_-2009123577752596811gmail-docs-internal-guid-b345ba42-890d-5544-1d09-18ae23075ea6">would leave 121 million children still in child labor by 2025, failing to meet the sustainable development goal <span id="m_-2009123577752596811gmail-docs-internal-guid-c00ab197-890d-c405-5516-506b09347b99">of ending child labor by then (<a href="http://www.ilo.org/wcmsp5/groups/public/---dgreports/---dcomm/documents/publication/wcms_575499.pdf">ILO</a>).</span></span></span></strong>
