I retired after a bus fell on me (at 45), so I live frantically with chronic pain and “work” as a pro-bono mentor for software startups. Curiously, “free” inspires far less appreciation than charging $5k/day in 1990's money.
&nbsp I was an illegal immigrant to Canada from UK (at 24), living on the street and stealing donuts from the dumpsters behind Tim Hortons. Canada let me immigrate because I didn't lie about my donut thievery when they caught up with me.
Co-founded a couple of $billion companies, living and working in over 30-countries, while getting fired from hundreds of corporate jobs for “rocking the boat”. I had to be a management consultant (usually new biz dev), because that is the only way one can get fired so often and still get more work.
I wrote Godspawn.org, a sci-fi novel about GMO souls and we had our superhuman “designer-child” (at 53) after 19–years of lab work. I completed my 4th degree in “online media” (at 50) and I help to educate abandoned children in a small South African Township.
