The next-biggest contributor , Japan, contributes almost 10 percent. Last week U.S. President Donald Trump <a href="https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-israel-un/defying-trump-over-120-countries-at-u-n-condemn-jerusalem-decision-idUSKBN1EF2D5">threatened to cut financial aid</a> to countries that voted in favor of a resolution calling on the U.S. to withdraw its recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
