• Note: Found a CBSNews/YouGov poll that backs up part of the USA Today claim, but goes further to show AOC's numbers are actually not too great. We really should be doing more here than copy-pasting from other news sources, if we're really here to be a challenging force to corporate interests in media.

"Trump also misleadingly claimed polls showed Omar only has 8% support, not mentioning that a similar figure is from a poll of white likely general-election voters without a bachelor’s degree."
According to a recent CBSNews/YouGov poll of a "nationally representative sample of 2,099 U.S. residents", Omar has a 19% favorability rating, over double the number given by Trump. However, USA Today has reported that the number given by Trump is similar to a poll taken of white males without college education.

from USA Today: https://www.usatoday.com/amp/1764862001
"In his comments and in a tweet the following day, Trump cited low polling numbers for Omar and Ocasio-Cortez of 8% and 21%, respectively. But numbers similar to those are from a survey of white voters with no more than two years of college education, not voters overall or voters in the lawmakers’ districts." According to the same CBSNews/YouGov poll Ocasio-Cortez has a favorability rating of 23%, which is pretty close to the number Trump used, and technically within the margin of error on that poll (+/- 2.3%).
Claim is Misleading at best. Claim is Mostly true.
