Jimmy suggested in Discord to look for a NY birth record. Here it is:
    https://archive.org/details/NYC_Geographical_Birth_Index_-_Bronx_-_1902-1906/page/n3229

The file is sorted by streets:
    https://archive.org/details/NYC_Geographical_Birth_Index_-_Bronx_-_1902-1906
On page 110, you find the street where the family had lived – 539 East 177th St

I’m not sure whether the proof suffices. The immigration record that the article is linking to contains an entry for a “Friedr. Trumpf” but no date of birth. Who knows that it is “the” Friedrich?
    Via https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump#Herkunft I clicked to:

Many entries under Friedrich Trump (and variants of the name):
    https://gedbas.genealogy.net/search/simple?lastname=Trump&offset=100&max=50

Friedrich TRUMP * 1869 Kallstadt, Allemagne + 1918 New York City
    https://gedbas.genealogy.net/person/show/1219229714

Frederik Christ TRUMP * 1905 Bronx, New York, USA + 1999 USA:
    https://gedbas.genealogy.net/person/show/1205009205

Frederick Christ TRUMP * 1905 New York City + 1999 New York City:
    https://gedbas.genealogy.net/person/show/1219229711

No entry for children of Frederick Christ.

I would be very interested to know where our link to an immigration record comes from. I assume we didn’t dig it up but that it is something that is circulating in other media? We should credit those sources if I’m right.

Hey, Jimmy! I am very sure that we could prove if this statement right or wrong, I will admit it will take time to gather enough information, but it is possible.

Great fact checking report, is it possible to enlarge the US immigration record or add another source?
