Where is the source for this?: “According to the State Public Safety Secretary in a press conference, the shooters, aged 17 and 25, were identified as former students of Raul Brasil state school.” I have not been able to confirm this statement in any available media.

The headline says 11 dead students and then that’s contradicted by the first line of the story.

Hi Chris! The headline said 11 dead, not 11 students. The 11 people who died were six students, two school officials, the two shooters and, minutes before, a car dealership owner, near the school.

Maira, you changed the headline to nine but the body of the text to eight. Could you please confirm which it is?

Fiona, in total there were seven victims in the school, another victim outside the school and the two shooters, who killed themselves. So, in total ten dead, but one was outside the school. That’s why I left “nine dead in school shooting”.

However, if collaborators think it’s more correct to state another number in the title, it would be great to know!
