India's CBI chief sacked 48 hours after reappointment

On 9th January 2018, the Supreme court of India reverting the decision made by the Central government reappointed the chief of Central Bureau of Investigation, after sent on forced leave for 77 days. The CBI chief Alok Verma was removed by the Central government in allegations of corruption.
