Theresa May faces vote of no-confidence

UK Prime Minister Theresa May has won a vote of confidence over her leadership on Wednesday, 12th Dec. 2018.

The Conservative leader faced a leadership challenge after her Conservative Party triggered a vote of no-confidence early on December 12.

The vote was triggered after the required 48 letters from Conservative MPs indicating their loss of confidence in Mrs May were received.

“I will contest that vote with everything I’ve got,” Mrs May said.
