I just removed “(1-2GW per annum)” because the units make no sense. Should that be “1-2GW on average” or “1-2GWh per annum” or something else. Note that 1GWh/annum = 114kW which is the heat generated by a 250cc 30 HP motor bike on full throttle. Essentially nothing.

So I’ve been doing this for nothing all these years. Is this the message? I seem to be hearing this more and more now. Seems plastics are really hard to recycle. Everyone wants the metals. There is easy money there.

The picture in my newsletter that accompanied the article was of regular milk cartons, not Tetra Paks. I suggest you change it. It is misleading.

Good catch, although there’s a dearth of appropriately licensed photographs that are of tetra packs. This is a potential alternative under a creative commons license but it’s an art piece. Would be interested in feedback on whether or not it’s appropriate!
