TUSCALOOSA, AL, USA – Surveillance footage of an attempted robbery at Guns and Ammo, LLC has been released.
Sunday, Dec. 2, at around 2:30 a.m., five men are seen walking around the gun store’s parking lot located on Greensboro Avenue.
A surveillance video of Guns and Ammo, LLC, shows the suspects walking back and forth, talking amongst themselves for almost three minutes. Another video shows two men preparing to drive a white car into the front of the store while the other three standby and watch (Guns and Ammo,LCC, surveillance video via Tuscaloosa News).
It seemed like one of the suspects who was preparing to drive the car, changed his mind and layed a heavy object on the gas pedal while putting the car in reverse instead.
The car was driven into the building two times and after the second time, the five suspects ran because an alarm was set off.
Three days later, the police arrested five suspects (Tuscaloosa News).
This is not the first time this location has been targeted.
Back in 2016, the store caught a burglary in action.
Staff Writer for the Tuscaloosa News, Stephanie Taylor, wrote about the incident saying “A passerby told police that he heard a loud crash at the business before he saw five or six young men enter and leave the business before driving off in a white vehicle.”
The gun store was also targeted again in July 2018.
