Fact Check:

A report issued by the US Department of Justice covering years between 1992-2000 found that “[t]he majority of sexual assaults, an estimated 63 percent, are never reported to the police”

A more recent report issued by RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network)  explains that ” Only 310 out of every 1,000 sexual assaults are reported to police. That means about 2 out of 3 go unreported”  these numbers are based on  surveys by different U.S government entities across 2010-2014 (2015)
