Russia interfering in Macedonia, warns US Defense Secretary


Russia is spreading disinformation and trying to interfere with an upcoming referendum in the Republic of Macedonia that could lead the landlocked country to change its name and potentially clear the way for it to join the European Union and NATO, warned U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis. He was speaking in Skopje, the country’s capital.
