This is a fascinating issue. I would be more or less curious as to a proven correlation between the increased maternity leave and a worker productivity increase/decrease.

Hi Jared. That’s a good angle. I’ll write about it should I find more info on any proven correlation. Thanks for the idea!

Hello. How do I change my article’s status (https://www.wikitribune.com/article/86769/) from “Draft” to “Pending Review”? It’s not clear in the instructions on this page: https://www.wikitribune.com/project/how-to-write-a-piece-of-journalism-for-wikitribune/. I’ve already finished writing the story. Thank you!

      Hi Patricia,

I know we emailed about this separately yesterday but pasting my reply here too in case anyone has the same issues.

      Hi Patricia,

Thanks for alerting us to this. The “how to write…” story is out of date so I’ll fix that now.

Until a few months ago we used a pending queue for all stories. With our recently launched front-end editor, however, that no longer happens and it should be a much smoother user experience.

If you use the front-end editor then once you hit save someone will soon jump in to edit, add more or generally collaborate. I believe my colleague Chuck will look at the updates to your story shortly.

If you have particular things in mind, such as indicating that you’ve finished or indeed are still working on it please write this in the story or on the TALK page.

Give me a shout with any questions on this and thanks for your story.
