Various news organizations have totally different numbers listed for the turnout, and the London police say they don’t release numbers for such things. So is someone taking pictures and counting, or just tossing out random numbers? Does the article reference one random media source’s number, while ignoring the rest? Also are they marching against him or just having a parade with a giant baby balloon and other things to draw crowds?

Hey Thomas, thank you for your question. Since we do not operate a drone or a helicopter, we read various reports by national and international media and reproduced the one most news organisations converged to. If you think it is inaccurate, feel free to show some evidence and we will reconsider.

As to why they are protesting, these two purposes are mutually exclusive. On the contrary, they work in a feedback loop.

Certainly tens of thousands. Many are protesters of some sort.

How to know what they all think, and why they were there? We can’t really ask everyone.

So … is there any evidence that the protests made any difference to anything at all?

Actually no. Trump is on a roll, he seems invincible. He has settled things in Syria, started the peace process with North Korea, and now going to talk to Putin. He is the greatest peace making president the US has ever had…

Hey guys, the point of the protest was not to re-direct Trump or May’s policies but rather to send a message of solidarity. I will add some quotes from the organisers to clarify, thank you for noticing this.
