The UK and France could be united by a new road crossing as the countries agreed to establish a panel of experts to look into joint infrastructure projects, including a potential bridge across the channel, according to UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson.

French President Emmanuel Macron, visiting London for a UK-France summit, told Johnson the bridge was a good idea, according to the Daily Telegraph.
