Without defending Trump, and without doubting its sentence by sentence accuracy, the tone of the article isn’t neutral.

I hope WikiTribune becomes accepted as an unbiased publication, by people who share my views *and* by people who don’t.

We’re trying to get to the inherent ridiculousness of the entire global media and half of the diplomatic corps and congress trying to parse whether shithole is worse, better, just the same, as shithouse. I hope that the humor can at least be objective and enjoyed by all sides. We’ll work on it.

Since the proposition is that the new vulgarity changes the argument, perhaps a footnote should be added to pre-existing articles, referencing this one, and challenging the reader to decide whether the change makes a difference.

      On it. Thanks.

Absolutely go back and modify the story. You are all about accurate journalism and want to avoid the criticism of “inaccurate”. In this case, information evolved. So you add a paragraph: sources later suggested an homologous epithet was used. Or something. Also inspect the first story…does it say “he said”, or does it say “he was reported to say”. If the latter, you could argue that story remains accurate. And this evolution is a new story.
