    It is not that Rajoy dismissed the idea, there is a law that states he must be physically present.

    Hi Brian, he’s been in Brussels, but presumably the separatist ambitions of Wallonia was one of the reasons for going to Belgium. Latest news today (17th) is that a group of Catalan lawyers has said it’s legally impossible for him to ‘rule’ from abroad. We’re watching what happens in the Catalan parliament today, though there might be nothing definitive for a while.

    Would he rule in exile from Walloonia, which is another regions also considering more autonomy to straight out independence? Brian Ghilliotti
