I approve of the use of alliteration in this headline.

This Breitbart story drama is eclipsed by the underlying human flaws of Mr. Trump and Mr. Bannon, like two peas in a pod the whole story is more like a good cop bad cop tv show. Both these individuals have shown their total lack of public service, one apparently a serial human disrupter and the other a total self-shilling individual who will do anything for a buck coming his way. If a USA fascist government rules with impunity in the coming years and Trump could make a buck on this outcome they would kiss and make up on the drop of a hat. This report is all about temporary optics.

Why does there need to be a smooth transition? Didn’t he just rejoin Breitbart a few months ago?

Jason, the “smooth transition” was expressed by Breitbart, which I’ve taken to mean that they want Bannon leaving to be as amicable as possible, considering the controversy surrounding him because of the book on Trump.
